Our Story
Flipper's Custard opened its doors in 1972 on North Second Street — a modest storefront with a big ambition: make the best custard in South Jersey. Thirty-five years later, people still pull into the parking lot the same way they did when they first discovered us.
We didn't chase trends or change our recipe. We kept showing up, kept hand-spinning every batch, and kept treating every person who walked through the door like they mattered. That's why the same family that started coming here in the '80s still brings their kids — and their kids bring their kids.
Today we're more than custard (though we won't apologize for how good it is). Our café serves breakfast all day, our bar comes alive in the evenings, and our community stays at the center of everything we do.
